Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

This privacy policy explains what information UBees Kitchen (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter we receive your email address. If you rate or review a recipe we store your rating and, optionally, your name and comment. If you email us we receive your message and email address.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers process technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited and an approximate location derived from your IP address. To prevent spam and duplicate ratings we store a one-way hash of your IP address alongside ratings instead of the address itself.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, and can change their choices at any time.

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not use cookies or track you across sites. If we use Google Analytics, it sets cookies to measure how the site is used.

Third-party content

Recipe videos may be embedded from YouTube (loaded only when you press play), and our “Save” buttons link to Pinterest. These services have their own privacy policies.

How we use information

We use information to run and improve the website, send newsletters you asked for (every email has an unsubscribe link), display reviews, prevent abuse, and show advertising that keeps the recipes free.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details on our contact page.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
